The MA in Culture and Communication aims at the development of advanced skills at the level of a transdisciplinary profile that allows students to work in diverse cultural and creative sectors, as well as within the scope of communication in its multiple variants. The conclusion of the Masters paves the way to professional activities in cultural management (as agents of production and cultural programming); analysis and cultural critique of media; management of cultural heritage; analysis and management of culture and communication at a business level; support on the creation of communication pieces; research on culture and communication. This course seeks to build a balanced approach between the theoretical-conceptual problematization of culture and communication and its application in specific contexts.

National Admission Exams 
Applicants must meet the following entry requirements: Be a BA (or legal equivalent) graduate; Hold a non-Portuguese Bologna 1st-cycle (Bachelor's) degree; Hold a non-Portuguese higher education degree that the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities has acknowledged as being equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. Under article 17 d) of Decree Law 74/2006, students meeting the following requirements may also apply: "d) Students with a strong academic, scientific or professional curriculum that has been assessed and acknowledged as apt by the official body responsible for admission to the specific University and course the student wishes to attend."
