Carreer prospects 
The MA in Textual Criticism aims at training expertise to the study of modes of production, transmission and preservation of communication, especially written communication, but also other verbal or nonverbal communication. These skills, necessary for a professional activity in the publishing area, will enable the student to act in the wide field of practical applications of the area of knowledge, namely: different types of scholarly edition (diplomatic, critical), electronic edition, proofreading for common editions, transposition of editions to specialised corpora, organic inventories of documents, codicological or manuscriptologic descriptions, preservation of literary archives, consultancy in the publishing market and production of editorial material.

National Admission Exams 
Applicants for the MA study programme must hold: a) a BA or legally equivalent degree; b) a degree from a foreign university, awarded after the successful completion of the 1st cycle of studies under the Bologna Process by a signatory country; c) a degree from a foreign university that, according to the Scientific Council, meets the learning outcomes of a BA; d) a school, scientific or professional curriculum that the Scientific Council regards as expressive of the student’s capacity to successfully complete this cycle of studies.
